The Japanese maritime market
Japan is one of the three leading shipbuilding nations in the world today. The country produces between 20 to 25 per cent of the globe’s trading vessels. Shipping, shipbuilding, and marine engineering make up the very core of Japan’s maritime industry.
The next challenge for the maritime industry is to decide upon the energy sources that will allow vessels to become carbon neutral. Will it be hydrogen, ammonia, liquified natural gas (LNG), electricity or something else that proves to be the right choice for the maritime industry in the future? Sea Japan seeks to put this on the spotlight, making the theme of the 15th edition of the exhibition clean energy and the various options for the industry.
Why attend Sea Japan?
Sea Japan 2024 is the ultimate chance to put your company on the map and make sure to be on the forefront in the Japanese shipbuilder’s decision-making process that involves many transformations in the years to come.
A new addition to Sea Japan 2024 is an offshore and port technology exhibition “Offshore Tech 2024” as a parallel event. The new event provides a platform for technology and information exchange between new ocean businesses and the maritime industry.
