Fueling the Future: HAFNIA's Methanol-Powered Vessels
by Jørgen Thuesen, Vice President Technical, Newbuildings & Projects, HafniaHAFNIA, a global shipping leader, excels in transporting refined oil products and chemicals with a strong focus on environmental responsibility. They own and operate a fleet of tankers designed to carry various liquid cargoes, including chemicals and oil products.
HAFNIA has recently ordered a series of cutting-edge dual-fuel methanol chemical IMO II MR vessels.
During the upcoming presentation, Jørgen will delve into various aspects of HAFNIA's operations, including legal considerations related to environmental regulations such as IMO Trajectory and CII EU ETS. He will explore retrofit and fuel-saving applications, examine the future of maritime fuels from Hafnia's perspective, and take a closer look at their product tanker fleet.
