Jacob A. Sterling is leading Maersk’s innovation and business development efforts related to the ambition of achieving net zero CO2 emissions by 2050. He has worked at Maersk since 2009 and prior to his current role, he has had leading roles within product management and sustainability. Before joining Maersk, Jacob Sterling worked as Conservation Director at WWF World Wide Fund for Nature. He holds a master’s degree in biology.

Gudmundur Langvik-Valdimarsson, has been working in the maritime sector since 2012, where he joined Hempel Marine Paints, serving Danish marine customers until end of 2018. After six good years with Hempel, he decided to explore other fields of the industry. Today working as GM sales Marine Power in Denmark, heading a team of 5 sales professionals.

Davide Ippolito is M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Polytechnic University of Milan and PhD in chemical engineering from Technical University of Denmark (DTU) with several years of experience in the Marine coating industry in R&D and Product Management for cargo tank, cargo holds and Hull coatings solutions. Since 2017, he has been part of Marine product management and responsible for several successful product launches including, among others, the innovative Hempaguard MaX solution. Davide is currently in charge of the Marine product management team.
