HRH Crown Prince Frederik International Business Awards is awarded to companies abroad who present an outstanding effort in promoting sustainable Danish products, services and values worldwide.

Business Excellence: Novo Nordisk France

With the ambition of turning waste into ressources, Novo Nordisk France aims to collect millions of injection pens and recycle them into furniture and new injektion pens. The company has set up the ReturpenTM programme as a pilot project in four French regions and goes national by 2025.
As there are no recycling facilities for medical equipment in France, Novo Nordisk cooperates with the French authorities to set up an efficient recycling system with a large group of stakeholders, and the company is now leading the proces of decarbonizing the French medical industry.

Green Solutions: Troldtekt GmbH

Globally, the building and construction industry is responsible for 35 to 40 percent of CO2-emmission and resource consumption. By focusing on the Sustainable Development Goals and the sustainable design concept cradle-to-cradle. It means that Troldtekt works systematically with healthy materials and a circular mindset where the products are recycled in a biological or technical cycle. Furthermore, 98 percent of the energy consumption for the production comes from renewables.
In March 2022 the whole range of Troldtekt acoustic panels received the Cradle to Cradle gold certification, and the company recently launched CO2-negative acoustic panels.

Export Achievement: Copenhagen Offshore Partners Korea

Denmark is world-reknowned for wind turbines and green energy, and with a strong business model to develop and construct offshore wind projects, Copenhagen Offshore Partners Korea has brought Danish offshore wind far beyond national borders to establish itself as a leader in South Korea and the East Asian offshore wind market.
COP Korea has secured exclusive rights to the seabed for a number of large offshore wind projects, bringing deep knowledge and experience to the region and simultaneously providing opportunities for other Danish companies, who have been given access to supply products and services for South Korea’s growing number of offshore wind projects.

2021

Business Excellence: ISS Turkey

ISS Turkey, a subsidiary of the ISS Group, provides facility services and has since starting up in 2005 grown its turnover extraordinarily, as well as its number of employees. Today, ISS is the third largest employer in Turkey, focusing on CSR and equality, supporting its staff in many ways.

Green Solutions: ScanCom

ScanCom, part of the Lars Larsen Group, operates with a strong focus placed on Corporate Social Responsibility in relation to environment, working conditions and material selection. The Group CEO of ScanCom International, Stig Maasbøl, who is a particular driving force behind the company’s development, is receiving the award.

Export Achievement: Danish Crown China

Danish Crown China has future-proofed its pork production in China, with blockchain technology playing a key role in guaranteeing traceability along the value chain from Denmark to China, when the meat is on the refrigerated counter at the shop.

Business Excellence: SAV Systems

SAV Systems is an important distributor and partner for Kamstrup A/S, which has achieved impressive results with customised indoor climate systems with least possible energy waste for the British market.

Green Solutions: RATE Australia Pty. Ltd

RATE Australia Pty. Ltd is a distributor for ITW GSE. Their innovative approach inspires other distributors and hereby they have achieved great success as a provider of aerobridge solutions and maintenance capabilities in the Australian airport industry.

Newcomer of the year: Green Instruments USA Inc.

Green Instruments USA Inc. is owned by Green Instruments A/S, which develops monitoring and analysis technology within the maritime industry. Their results have increased demand, created growth in well-known industries and strengthened Green Instruments' level of service in the US market.

This category "Newcomer of The Year" has been modified and is for the award in 2021 called "Export Achievement".
