We will meet at Semco Maritime in Esbjerg. You will get an introduction to Semco and their current projects, especially Project Greensand that aims to reduce CO2 emissions in the atmosphere. This is done by capturing and storing CO2 in the subsoil in the North Sea. INEOS Energy Denmark will talk about the CCS process in details and touch upon opportunities within Project Greensand for Danish companies in the energy and marine industry.
Esvagt will give us their view on the latest developments in the offshore wind industry and USA as a growth market. You will learn about challenges and opportunities, when working with the offshore wind market in USA.
During the member meeting the Danish Maritime Authority will give an introduction to funding possibilies for Danish maritime companies that have been affected negatively by Brexit.

The virtual hybrid ship

ESVAGT – Partnerships for growth and U.S. Offshore Wind industry
by Nils Overgaard, Head of Special Projects – Commercial Advisor, ESVAGTAs a consortium partner in Project Greensand, Nils will share ESVAGT's thoughts on CCS and how collaboration is the key and can make a significant contribution to the green transition.
Crowley and ESVAGT will jointly build and operate a service operation vessel (SOV) under a long-term charter with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, enhancing service for the U.S. clean wind energy market. Nils has played a vital role in ESVAGTS partnership with Crowly and will elaborate on the cooperation between the two companies including opportunities and challenges to consist with the requirements of the U.S. Jones Act.

Mie er frontfigur for Marine- og Cruise & Ferry-netværkene. Med stor erfaring inden for eksport og rådgivning af virksomheder på både strategisk og praktisk niveau kan hun hjælpe dig videre, hvis du vil øge din virksomheds eksport.
Mie har boet og arbejdet i Hamborg, inden hun blev projektleder hos Dansk-Tysk Handelskammer. Der arbejdede hun i seks år, hvor hun fik erfaring med en lang række brancher – blandt andet transport og logistik. Derudover har Mie rådgivet virksomheder i forbindelse med licitationer i FN-regi.

Riikka er fra Finland, og hun er uddannet cand. mag. i nordiske sprog, litteratur og historie fra Helsinki Universitet herunder også et ophold på Århus Universitet.
