DKK 16,900 per company including a maximum of 2 participants per company, ground transport between meetings in the Netherlands, and one networking dinner event.

The price excludes VAT, flights, and hotel charges. It is based on a minimum of 7 participating companies, with your company being eligible for grants from The Trade Council, under the rules of "de minimis subsidies" for export promotion activities.

    • Seminar on the eldercare system in the Netherlands including funding opportunities and procurement processes including e.g.:

    • Vilans is the National Centre of Expertise for Long-term Care in the Netherlands. Vilans engages in innovation, research and development, dissemination, and implementation of good practices in the field of eldercare.

    • ActiZ is the trade association of approximately 400 healthcare organizations, which, with almost 500,000 employees, nurse and care for two million vulnerable elderly and chronically ill people. At home, in the nursing home, and in residential facilities between hospital and home.

    • Nictiz develops and manages standards that enable digital information provision and that ensure that you can clearly record and exchange health information.

    • Under the guidance of Health~Holland public and private partners combine nationally their investments and activities to gain economic and societal impact for health & care including offering more care in the right place and better perspectives for people with chronic diseases, lifelong disabilities, and dementia.

    • Site visit to a specialized centre focusing on eldercare (e.g. University Medical Center) or home care provider - depending on the needs and interests of the final delegation

Who should participate?

We invite Danish suppliers of aids and services tailored for individuals with disabilities or the elderly, aimed at enhancing security, promoting activity, facilitating participation, preserving dignity, and fostering independence. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Mobility aids: such as canes, walking frames, scooters, and wheelchairs.
  • Communication devices: encompassing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools, as well as speech-generating devices.
  • Daily living aids: comprising adaptive kitchen tools and modified bathroom equipment to support everyday tasks.
  • Sensory aids: including visual aids and hearing aids to address sensory impairments.
  • Telehealth, mobile health, and remote monitoring solutions: spanning wearables, remote patient monitoring systems and room sensors, virtual consultation platforms, telemedicine technologies, mobile health apps, digital training and exercise
  • Assistive devices for independent living: smart home technology, AI, wearable sensors and assistive robots
  • Sensory stimulation technology including tools and technology for people with cognitive deficiencies or impairment.

The market

In the Netherlands, universal health insurance ensures comprehensive coverage for all residents. Notably, the country ranks among Europe's top spenders on long-term care, allocating over 4% of its GDP to medical, nursing, and personal care, alongside assisted living services.

With 74 beds per 1,000 individuals over 65 years old, the Netherlands boasts one of the highest rates of long-term care facilities in Europe.

To address personnel shortages, the Dutch government is promoting the implementation of smart technology and digital solutions aimed at alleviating staffing burdens and enhancing care for citizens in nursing, caregiving, and home care.
