Market visit to the food and beverage industry in France

Join us on a market visit to Lyon in France and meet, network and establish connections with companies and food producers working in the French meat and dairy industry. Danish Export – Food Tech in cooperation with Frédéric Bernard who owns the company MediFransk ApS. Frédéric Bernard supports Danish companies to get an easier access to the French market or increase existing export to France. Frédéric Bernard is French and has lived in Denmark since 1996. He has many years of experience working in Danish production companies and knows the barriers Danish companies are facing when doing business with French companies and potential clients.

The purpose of the market visit to France is to give your company the possibility to identify new opportunities in the French food industry and establish a direct contact to relevant stakeholders. The program of the market visit will contain a matchmaking session with French companies, company visits and a get-together with relevant stakeholders of the French food industry.

Export potential to the French food industry
The food industry is one of the largest industries in both France and Europe. France has a large domestic market of 65 million consumers and exports a wide range of foods. Meat and dairy dominate the French market and represent about 1/3 of the entire food production.

Food safety and sustainable food production are key focus areas in France. Therefore, companies are looking for solutions, equipment and technology that can e.g., reduce energy consumption and waste as well as increase efficiency.
