Incl. two participants per company, ground transport in Portugal and a dinner event.
The price is based on your company being eligible for subsidy from The Trade Council of Denmark and EU (Brexit-Funds).
The price is excl. of VAT, flights, board and lodging and is based on a minimum of 7 participating companies.
With focus on renewable energy, Portugal contains great opportunities for Danish companies within the bioenergy sector. During this three-day market trip, we visit one or two relevant operators in Portugal and participate in the conference Lisbon Energy Summit & Exhibition.
Joining the visit you:
- Gain an understanding of market opportunities on the Portuguese market
- Strengthen your possibilities by participating at the exhibition and conference ‘Lisbon Energy Summit & Exhibition’
- Network with other Danish companies within the bioenergy industry
- Identify possible business partners and customers on the Portuguese market
- Gain insight into the future political agenda related to bioenergy, e.g. biogas and biomass
This event is subsidised by The Trade Council and BREXIT Funds from the European Union. To participate with subsidy, your company must be eligible to receive subsidies based on the de-minimis-rules and regulations from the Trade Council.
The de minimis-enactment means that a company can receive public subsidies of maximum EUR 200,000 within a period of three financial years. To receive subsidies, companies must be registered with a Danish VAT-number and complete a business form.

Arrival in Lisbon and opportunity to meet with the group in the evening

Day two
May 31, 2023
During the day, we visit Lisbon Energy Summit & Exhibition. Get a feeling of the atmosphere at the exhibition with the possibility of becoming a speaker at the conference and meet Portuguese stakeholders
In the evening, we meet for networking and drinks at the exhibition

Day three
June 1, 2023
One or two visits at selected Portuguese bioenergy companies such as Capwatt
Social networking dinner with the group of Danish companies and relevant local stakeholders

June 2, 2023
Depending on geographical location, we may visit the second company on this day
